What is compassion and why practice it?
In this two hour session we will be gently exploring the meaning of compassion and how it can be cultivated in our lives. This is suitable for anyone who has completed a mindfulness course, such as MBSR or MBCT, or is interested in attending the 8-week Compassion Based Living Course in the autumn. Attendance on the taster session entitles you to a discount on the cost of the 8-week CBLC if you decide to join it. We strongly recommend that, if you are interested in joining the 8-wek course, you come along to this free taster session.
The tutor is Jan Mayor who is qualified to teach mindfulness through the University of Aberdeen teacher training programme and is accredited by the UK Network of Mindfulness Based Teacher Trainers and the Mindfulness Association.
